How high is your hotel?

What is the best way to get to your hotel by bus or train? Is there a bus connection? Hiking bus/ ski bus?

By train: We are happy to pick you up free of charge from the railway station in Haus im Ennstal or Schladming.
There is no public bus or hiking bus directly at the hotel. Our hotel's own hiking taxis run daily in summer to the guided hikes. -
Is it easy to get up the mountain by car?
The access road to the hotel is tarmac and has an average gradient of around 10%. Therefore, snow chains are compulsory in winter from the exit from the main road. -
Are dogs allowed at your hotel?
Dogs are welcome in our hotel, but we charge EUR 30,- per day without food (dog blanket, water bowl and paw station). Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, bar or wellness area. -
Is there a cheap airport transport service?
We are happy to organise airport transport from Salzburg or Graz directly to the hotel. -
When can I check in and when do I have to vacate my room?
We guarantee your room from 15:00 on the day of arrival. You are welcome to check in earlier and leave your luggage - we will bring it to your room as soon as it is free. On the day of departure, we ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 am at the latest. You are welcome to leave your luggage with us for the rest of the day. Our wellness area is available from 13:00 on the day of arrival and until 13:00 on the day of departure. For an extra charge of EUR 25,- per person and day you can use the wellness area earlier or longer and enjoy our light lunch (in summer) or the cake buffet (in winter). -
I have seen a cheaper offer at Hofer. Will I get the same price if I book directly with you?
We only provide Hofer with a certain contingent with certain room categories. The service package of the Hofer offer is also not identical to the services you receive if you book directly with us. For this reason, we cannot give you the same price that you would pay for the Hofer offer. -
Is your hotel child-friendly?
Our hotel is a 3rd generation family business - which is why family and the demands of a family holiday are very important to us. We offer excitement, fun and variety for your family holiday with nature as your entertainer. Your children are in good hands in our Nature Hero Kids Club, while you can relax and unwind in our Premium Alpine Spa. We also have a dwarf pool for the little ones. -
Are children allowed in the wellness area?
Children under the age of 16 are welcome in the indoor pool. Our alpine sauna village is a nude area and accessible to children aged 16 and over. -
Can you offer us a good price?
We always offer our best prices on a daily basis, which we guarantee 48 hours after the offer is made. The earlier you book, the better the offer - we don't offer last-minute deals. We make sure our prices are fair for all our guests, whether they are visiting us for the first time or have been our guests for many years. -

Is noise pollution to be expected (e.g. from traffic)?
On days when we offer live music, it is possible that this can be heard quietly in the rooms directly above the hotel bar. Due to our location on the mountain at the edge of the forest, no other disturbances are to be expected. -
Is my Sommercard valid throughout the summer months?
No, your included Sommercard is valid during your stay - from the day of arrival (13:00) up to and including the day of departure.
Attractions and gondola ride on the Dachstein Glacier are included in the Sommercard for stays of 2 nights or more. -
Will my room be cleaned daily during my stay?
After careful consideration, sustainability training, panel discussions and many conversations with hotel colleagues and employees, we have decided to clean the rooms thoroughly every 2 days. However, if you would like your room to be cleaned more often, you are welcome to contact reception by 8.00 pm and we will clean your room daily.

How can I pay with you?
We accept all major debit cards, VISA and Master Card, as well as cash payment. -
What are the cancellation conditions?
A cancellation period of 6 weeks applies for the winter season and 2 weeks for the summer season.
For cancellations subject to a charge, our familiar hotel contract conditions apply.
It is best to take out travel insurance, our reservations department will be happy to provide you with more information. -
Will I get my deposit back in the event of cancellation?
In the event of cancellation, we will convert your deposit into an unlimited value voucher that can be redeemed at a new desired date. The deposit can also be refunded on express request. A fee of EUR 30 will be charged for processing. -
Can I take out travel insurance directly through the hotel?
We co-operate with Europäische Reiseversicherung. You can take out travel insurance online via our homepage, or you can contact us and we will arrange everything for your travel insurance. -
We will be arriving a little later, can we still get something to eat?
Our restaurant is open until 20:30 in the evening. If you will be arriving later, please let us know. We can then prepare something for you. -
There are two of us, can we book a suite / I am alone, can I book a double room?
Subject to availability (except Christmas/New Year's Eve, February and public holidays), you are welcome to book a suite for two or a double room for single use. The single room supplement is EUR 30 per night.
Wellness and Day Spa

I have a voucher and would like to come to the Day Spa. Do I have to register?
We kindly ask you to contact us in advance regarding a day spa. Bring the voucher with you and hand it in at reception when you check in. There you will receive all the information you need about your day out with us. Of course you will receive a spa bag with bathrobe and towels. -
Do I have to book wellness appointments in advance or is it enough when I arrive?
In order to get your desired date and to be able to spend your holiday with us in a relaxed manner, it is advisable to plan your appointments in advance (either by e-mail: [email protected] or by telephone). We recommend that you book the particularly popular afternoon appointments at least 14 days in advance. If you would like to book an appointment spontaneously, this is of course also possible on site with our spa professionals at the Premium Alpin Spa - Wellness Reception. -
Do you have bathrobes or do I have to bring my own?
You will receive a bathing bag with a bathrobe and towels. -
How warm is the water in the indoor pool?
The water in the indoor pool is 31°C, the outdoor pool with massage jets 31°C, sports pool 28°C, whirlpools 35°C. -
From when to when is the wellness area open? How long are children allowed in the indoor pool?
The outdoor area is open from 10:00 to 20:00. (Alpine sauna village, relaxation houses, Stadlsauna). The Olympic sports pool and the panorama floating whirlpool are open from 07:30 to 20:00. The indoor pool with outdoor pool is open from 07:00 to 20:00.
Children are allowed in the mountain pool area, from the age of 16 you have access to the alpine sauna village and relaxation area.

What can I do to make my holiday extra special?
We can offer you a candlelight dinner in our wine cellar. Enjoy a gourmet dinner in private togetherness (EUR 30.00 per person). Further possibilities: Romantic room decoration, Höflehner sparkling wine, homemade chocolates, romantic mountain bath, bouquet of flowers according to your wishes. Please let us know your wishes as soon as possible. -
I would like to dine with you tomorrow, can I book a table?
You are welcome to dine with us as an external guest (breakfast, lunch - a la carte, set menu, candlelight dinner, fine dining), provided our restaurant is available. Do you have a special occasion for your meal? Please let us know when you make your reservation. -
I have an allergy to.../am lactose intolerant.... Is it possible to have a special meal?
Please let us know as soon as possible. We cook gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian and vegan dishes. -
Is your hotel wheelchair accessible?
Due to the spaciousness (lift, rooms, corridors, restaurant area) it is possible to spend your holiday with us in a wheelchair. However, accessibility is not guaranteed everywhere. -
We have a special table request.
Depending on availability, we are happy to cater for your table requests. Please let us know in good time so that our service team can take your wishes into account when organising your table. -
Late check-out
We offer you the option of a late check-out (EUR 40.00 per person). Late check-out at 5.00 pm.
